Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is slated to make his return after a four-month hiatus due to a broken left hand.
After playing in the first four games of the season, Curry feels like a kid on the first day of school taking on the Toronto Raptors in a rematch of last year's NBA Finals:
“It feels like the first day of school pretty much all over again, which is exciting,” said Curry. “I feel pretty comfortable and pretty confident on where I'm at physically. I'm just excited to get back out there.”

The Warriors only have 20 games remaining in this season, including four back-to-back affairs — something that could limit Curry's total playing time in this last stretch.
The plan is to play Curry between 24 to 28 minutes and have him out there for short five- to six-minute stretches, allowing him to catch a rhythm after missing the vast majority of the NBA season.
Article Continues BelowWarriors head coach Steve Kerr said he could envision Curry playing in back-to-backs, so long as his conditioning was up to par and there was no risk of injury. The goal is to have him back to his regular 32- to 34-minute allocation in a couple of weeks, though that timeline is rather fluid, depending on his progression.
Curry himself would like to play as much as possible:
Steph Curry said he wants to be out there every game the rest of the way, not a “now you see me, now you don’t” situation. Warriors have four more back-to-backs.

Unlike knee and joint injuries, Curry will be given a healthy workload from the get-go instead of starting out under 20 minutes. Every second of playing time will be important for the bottom-dwelling Warriors, considering his chemistry with newcomer Andrew Wiggins and a lot of the new players will be taken into consideration during the wave of roster decisions that await this summer as the franchise tries to return to a championship level.
