The struggling Golden State Warriors lost their seventh game in their last nine appearances on Thursday night with a 122-113 defeat at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs superstar dominated Stephen Curry’s Warriors, finishing the game with 41 points, 10 boards, and nine assists.

“When you're playing a team that has the head of the snake like that, you got to find creative ways to take him out,” Curry told ClutchPoints. “Make it a little more difficult for him to get his shots. I don't think we did that the entire game. He got off early in the first quarter, and that gave him confidence the rest of the game.”
This was the Mavs' second time beating the Warriors this week, and it was Golden State's second straight game allowing a team to score over 120 points. Losing to the Mavs moves the Dubs' losing streak to three games, marking the first three-game losing streak of the season for Curry and Co.

The common factor during this three-game skid has been the team's defense. Opponents are getting whatever they want offensively with very little resistance, and playing that way against a star like Doncic means trouble.
The more games Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala miss, you see exactly how important these two are to the team. Both injured players should be returning to the lineup soon, but there is no set date for Green or Iguodala. So, even though the answers to the Warriors' problems are on the way, they have to survive a tough stretch without them.
