A Boston-area bar made waves during the NBA Finals with a sign that read, ‘Ayesha Curry can't cook.' They intended it as a ploy to get in Golden State Warriors' star Stephen Curry's head. Ayesha, Steph's wife, is known for being a tremendous cook and even has a show on Food Network. However, this Boston bar wanted to do everything in it's power to help the Celtics gain an advantage. Stephen Curry originally responded by wearing a t-shirt that read ‘Ayesha Curry can cook.'

But Steph isn't done trolling just yet.

After admitting to being the “petty king,” he discussed the Celtics' Ayesha Curry cooking slander following the Warriors NBA Finals victory over Boston, via Yahoo Sports.

“I got three green Ayesha can’t cook’ [shirts] in the locker room that I’m wearing at some point. I love it. The fact you’re on this stage. You give and you take it. You embrace it all. I appreciate it.”

Stephen Curry even posted an image on his social media holding the Warriors Finals trophy and an ‘Ayesha Curry can't cook' t-shirt. The caption on the photo read, ‘Bye Boston!'

There is no denying the fact that Curry got the last laugh. But Boston fans had to be entertained by his willingness to respond. It is clear that a Warriors-Celtics rivalry has been born. It will be interesting to see what kind of reaction Curry receives next year in Boston.

For now, he and the Warriors will focus on celebrating their fourth NBA championship in the past eight years.
