Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been turning heads with his stellar play to start the 2020-21 season. Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards was among the latest to be stunned after his first encounter with the two-time NBA MVP on Monday night. After witnessing Curry's heroics in the game, he eventually claimed that Curry was not ‘fake news', via Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

After concluding the first quarter with a 34-23 lead, the Warriors continued to answer back in a bid to fend off the Timberwolves' comeback attempts for the remainder of the game. The Warriors' lead was never put in doubt from start to finish as they comfortably cruised to a 130-108 victory to halt a two-game losing skid.
Without D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns in the game, the Timberwolves needed to rely on the production of their other role players. Malik Beasley topped the team in scoring with 30 points and seven rebounds followed by Anthony Edwards and Jordan McLaughlin who scored 15 points apiece.
The Dubs banked on Stephen Curry's huge performance where he drained 7 of 12 shots from beyond the arc to account for a total of 36 points. Andrew Wiggins also notched 23 points and six rebounds of his own while three more Warriors players scored in double digits.
Golden State now improved to a 9-8 record to nab the eighth spot in the Western Conference while the Timberwolves dropped back to 4-12 for 15th place. Stephen Curry is looking to light it up once more and grab another victory as his team will face the Timberwolves in the second game of a back-to-back set on Jan. 27.
