Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is not in the NBA Playoffs after the Warriors got ousted in the play-in tournament. Philadelphia 76ers guard Seth Curry is in the playoffs, however, and it seems that Steph transferred his powers to his brother as he propelled the Sixers to a victory off a huge performance in Game 5 vs the Washington Wizards.

Seth Curry was hot from the field and provided the Sixers with a much-needed spark after the injury to Joel Embiid forced the MVP candidate out for Game 5.

Enter Seth Curry, who was electric and led the Sixers in scoring while also recording a career-playoff high in points as the Sixers officially move on to the second round. Curry finished with 30 points on 10-17 from the field and a trio of three-pointers as the Sixers topped the Wizards to advance to the second round.

With the unfortunate news of Embiid, somebody had to step up, and Curry did exactly that. Maybe it wasn't as spectacular as the Warriors point guard with the same last name, but it was still sensational.

The Sixers had it all but wrapped in Game 4, then Embiid went down, and the Wizards staged a big comeback to steal the game and extend the series just a little bit longer. However, the Philly fans came out and the Sixers did all they can in order to steal the victory and move on to the second round.

Seth Curry was making it from everywhere and even embarrassed Rui Hachimura with this nasty move in the second half.

Maybe he has been taking some tips and pointers from his brother Steph, who has had immense success with the Warriors and is one of the greatest shooters and scorers in the history of basketball.

For the Sixers, hopefully the trio of Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons, and Seth Curry can be enough to weather the storm without Embiid, who is officially listed as day-to-day.
