Without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors got destroyed by the Toronto Raptors in an embarrassing 130-77 defeat on Friday night. ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins criticized Warriors head coach Steve Kerr and questioned the 3-time champion coach's ability to rally his troops if his stars are not around.

Those are some strong words from the former NBA big man.

It's hard to argue with Kerr's track record since he is responsible for turning the Warriors into a championship team. Furthermore, he steered the squad to five straight Finals appearances and won three titles.

Nonetheless, Perkins may have a point here. Sure, it's going to be hard for any team to win if his three stars are on the sidelines. Still, there is no reason for any team to lose by that much in any professional setting. It was definitely an embarrassing effort as they found themselves trailing by 61 points at one point.

Kerr no longer has the luxury of having a star-studded lineup. But even with Curry and Green out for this game, that doesn't absolve him from any fault in this embarrassing blowout.

The Warriors just looked lost and lifeless on both sides of the floor and their energy just dissipated as the Raptors went on their run in the second and third quarters. In those periods, the Warriors scored just 30 points, while giving up 81 points to Toronto.

Perhaps Kerr could have done more coaching-wise, made adjustments, and even just lit up a fire under his guys as the Raptors were making their run.
