Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has hinted that he'll bulk up the minutes of Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell moving forward

In the Warriors' five-game road trip, Green suited up for four games and played between 19-30 minutes. Russell, meanwhile, played just two games and played 25 and 29 minutes each.

Their limited playing time can be seen as an effort to keep them healthy. After all, there is still a ton of games left this 2019-20 and Russell and Green are two of the best Warriors players who are relatively injury-free.

While it can already be concluded that the Warriors' playoff hopes are over, Green and Russell's on-court presence will still be critical in the team's development.

Development is the main goal for Golden State this year as they look to be fully healthy next year. With Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry out, the top priority for the Dubs is to have their players ready when they return.

Apart from that, the team also has an opportunity to beef up their roster through the NBA Draft, as well as though off-season signings this summer. As such, Golden State fans may need to wait a bit more before their team mounts another title run.
