When Klay Thompson catches fire and gets going, there are times he makes his work on the court look effortless. However, that's not always the case and fans, from time to time, get a reminder that he is still human and commits mistakes

Midway through the first quarter of their game against the Charlotte Hornets, Thompson showed us just that with quite the in-game flub.

What should have been a wide-open layup turned into a blooper that will absolutely make it’s way into the Shaqtin’ a Fool end of season reel. Thankfully for Klay Thompson, he is used to providing a little comic relief.

Another one of his on-court fails become one of the most iconic Thompson videos. During a visit to China in the 2017 offseason, an attempted dunk quickly turned into one of the most viral videos of the summer and has been immortalized as a classic “China Klay” moment.

When you are as successful as the three-time champ has been, it’s hard to take things like this too seriously. As great as a season as Klay is putting up right now, it likely won’t affect him at all. Through 58 games so far, he is averaging 21.8 points per game on top of 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals.

The season started a little rough for Klay, but he got his shooting back on track and has proven down the stretch of the season just how important he is to this Golden State team — even if he does miss an open layup every now and then.
