Bradley Beal has a huge offseason ahead of him, with whispers going around about other teams swooping in to grab the three-time All-Star. Despite the chatter, the Washington Wizards guard is still doing his part for the D.C. community

The Wizards star recently partnered with Hoop for All to refurbish the outdoor basketball courts at the Benjamin Banneker Recreation Center.

Given that the heartwarming gesture was basketball-related, it would be remiss for a hoops star to not take part in some of the basketball festivities. It made sense that Beal was asked to take the ceremonial first shot. But his charitable work didn't spare him from some one friendly heckler.

One kid decided to shout “brick” at the Wizards star right before he took the shot. Beal shot back with a “who said that?” before hilariously proceeding to airmail his first attempt:

His second attempt wasn't much better, but did “brick” just like his little trash talker said. Bradley Beal wasn't missing the third time, though as the Wizards guard nailed it from the top of the key. Third time's the charm.

It's no surprise that Bradley Beal is exhibiting a bit of rust, given that he had season-ending surgery to repair an injured wrist and is still on the road to recovery. He's not bricking wide open threes in the regular season very often.
