Washington Wizards center Dwight Howard made his return to Orlando Friday night, and the former All-NBA big man had a strange interaction with none other than the ball itself. After missing a layup while getting fouled, Dwight Howard had some choice words for the ball that had not been kind to him or his Wizards teammates early this season, via Fred Katz of The Athletic.

The Wizards entered Friday with a record of 2-8. They currently have the worst defense in the NBA, as Washington is giving up a whopping 120.5 points per game.

The Wizards players don't look like they want to play with one another, point guard John Wall and shooting guard Bradley Beal have already called out some guys on the team for playing selfish, and now Dwight Howard is cursing at the basketball.

By the looks of it, it's going to be a long, long season in the nation's capital.

Dwight Howard, who had his best years as a pro with the Magic, entered Friday averaging 12.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game while shooting 63.6 percent from the field. He missed the first seven games of the season due to a piriformis injury.

After getting traded by the Charlotte Hornets to the Brooklyn Nets in the offseason, Howard and the Nets agreed to a buyout. Howard then signed a two-year, $11 million deal with the Wizards.
