Washington Wizards head coach Scott Brooks brought small forward Markieff Morris off the bench Tuesday against the L.A. Clippers and it looks like that trend will continue moving forward.

Scott Brooks replaced Markieff Morris with Kelly Oubre Jr. in the starting lineup.

The Wizards erased a 24-point deficit versus the Clippers to win their sixth game of the season. It was a much-needed win considering everything that has been going on in the nation's capital.

Morris played 25 minutes and finished with 12 points, five rebounds and two assists. He hit some clutch three-pointers in the fourth quarter that helped the Wizards come back and win. Oubre Jr. only scored three points in 12 minutes.

It remains to be seen if Tuesday's win will catapult the Wizards on a winning streak, but it should be noted that the team is too inconsistent and played pretty poorly for the most part against the Clips.

While the players were happy with the win, they said in the postgame locker room that a lot of the issues with the team still remain. Just by watching the Wizards play, it's easy to tell there isn't a lot of trust out there on the court.

Morris will become an unrestricted free agent after this season ends. He signed with agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports over the summer. Paul, of course, represents Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
