It is absolutely no secret that veteran NBA center Robin Lopez is a bit of a character while the infamous twin is now suiting up for the Washington Wizards. Although Lopez wasn't up to his typical antics surrounding the harassment of opposing mascots, all in the name of good fun of course, the Wizards big man still somehow managed to create some headlines early on against the Orlando Magic.
With the two Eastern Conference franchises squaring off in our nation's capital on Sunday evening, Lopez converted on wild behind-the-basket lob shot — something that seemingly only he could make work.
Lopez is currently in the midst of his first season as a member of the Wizards after recently making his way around the league. With his brother Brook Lopez suiting up for the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers and now Milwaukee Bucks,
Robin played alongside his twin in Wisconsin just a season ago. In addition to the Bucks and Wizards, Lopez has also played for the Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, Portland Trail Blazers, New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls.
The Washington Wizards aren't off to the greatest of starts. The D.C. based squad has fallen into an 0-3 hole. They fell to the Philadelphia 76ers in a close contest against Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Then followed with back-to-back losses to the Orlando Magic on consecutive nights.
Although Robin isn't quite the prolific player that his brother Brook is, the Wizards big man still knows how to standout in today's NBA.
