Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel was last seen playing for the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football league, but it did not take too long before the league folded.

As a result, Manziel is running out of options to play professional football, as no NFL teams have shown any public interest in the signal-caller and the CFL has already banned him from its own league.

However, there is always the XFL, and Manziel is apparently open to playing in Vince McMahon's league:

“Any football,” Manziel told TMZ Sports. “Any football options.”

It doesn't even matter if it's not an NFL club at this point; the 26-year-old just wants to play:

“That's all it is man,” Manziel said when asked if he just wants to play football. “Ball 24/7.”

Whether he would be welcome in the XFL, however, may be another story.

Manziel, who played his collegiate football at Texas A&M University, was originally selected by the Cleveland Browns in the first round (22nd pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He played in five games and made two starts during his rookie campaign, completing 18 of his 35 passes for 175 yards and a couple of interceptions.

The Texas native then received a much bigger opportunity the following year, appearing in 10 contests and starting six of them. During that time, he threw for 1,500 yards, seven touchdowns, and five picks while completing 57.8 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 79.4.

Manziel was eventually waived by the Browns in March 2016 and has not played in the NFL since.
