The New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox are playing in Iowa in the Field of Dreams Game on Thursday in what looks like a beautiful scene. As both teams awaited the first pitch, the Yankees and White Sox made a glorious entrance to the diamond–coming out from the cornfields.

A truly historic evening in Iowa, and the MLB will surely have to think about doing this more often after the success they have had even before the first pitch was thrown.

Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton were clearly loving it, and Kevin Costner was on the field– because, why wouldn't he be?

As the MLB does whatever it takes to become more marketable, this is surely one way to do it, and so far so good as the Yankees and White– two of the top teams in the American League– face off.

Fans came in aplenty and paid hefty ticket prices to be part of history, and everybody should be tuning in for a truly remarkable event. Hopefully, nobody gets lost in the cornfields, either.

It should be a wonderful game, and the entrance alone was amazing and unique. This should be the first of many more games such as this one in the future of the MLB.
