It is getting closer and closer to the playoffs for your fantasy football leagues, and nailing your Week 10 waiver wire pickups is incredibly important for improving those odds.

If you are in the market for a free agent QB, there is some bad news for you – your pickings are quite slim, to the point where what you already have is likely going to be better than anything else available on the waiver wire. You’re not actively searching out a Davis Mills or a Mac Jones to make a start for you (unless you have no other option), but at this point in the season, your QB spot is likely going to be set.

The following list features 10 players all rostered on fewer than 50 percent of all rosters, according to ESPN, so here is to hoping that you are able to find that much-needed addition to push your team even closer to making the postseason.

Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

10. Odell Beckham Jr.- WR
19.8% Rostered
Free Agent

As the hottest name circulating in NFL free agency, Odell Beckham Jr’s injury recovery has been a well-document process, and that process is close to coming to an end. With playoff-hopeful teams looking for that final championship piece, Beckham is a superb addition to your fantasy football team, only if you have a bench spot to burn.

Expecting OBJ to produce any fantasy-relevant numbers right out of the gate is foolish, but as long as he joins a team that incorporates him early and often upon his return, then he could act as a WR3/4 bench piece that could step in in a pinch if needed. But lower your expectations and don’t use a ton of FAAB on him.

9. Taylor Heinicke – QB
16.1% Rostered
Washington Commanders

As putrid as the potential QB options are, Taylor Heinicke likely is going to be the best option for you to invest in, at least for a week or two. With the Washington Commanders frequently playing from behind, their passing game relies on Heinicke, and volume is always king.

The passing offense has been a struggle all year, even with Carson Wentz chucking the ball, but Heinicke seems to be taking care of the ball better, which helps raise the ceiling for fantasy reasons.

8. Wan’Dale Robinson – WR
20.3% Rostered
New York Giants

As is the case with Heinicke, volume is king, and with how poor the receivers have been for the New York Giants, Wan’Dale Robinson has a great shot at being something relevant for your fantasy football rosters.

Even with Daniel Jones and his inconsistencies when it comes to the passing game, he has to throw the ball to someone, and Robinson is one of the last remaining options that actually looks like a competent WR for the Giants.

7. Cole Kmet – TE
27.0% Rostered
Chicago Bears

Two consecutive weeks with at least 1 TD reception makes Cole Kmet a sneaky tight end addition, especially for a Bears offense that looks to be hitting their stride. Getting a piece of this offense may not feel like a prerogative, but Kmet is the safety valve for Fields, giving him a semi-safe floor.

Granted, the beginning of the season for Kmet was incredibly unfriendly fantasy-wise, but as you’ll see as these waiver wire pickups list progresses – this is the week of the TE pickup.

6. Noah Fant – TE
31.8% Rostered
Seattle Seahawks

Who would have thought that the Seattle Seahawks would have this kind of offensive output through the first nine weeks of the 2022 NFL season? With Geno Smith and company running a solid ship, even Noah Fant is becoming a fantasy asset.

As was the case with Kmet, Fant has had a bit of a slow and inconsistent start to his season, but has grown into a role that has seen him earn a ton of trust from Smith, establishing himself as a TE1/2 weekly.

5. Cade Otton – TE
5.1% Rostered
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rookie Cade Otton has made the most of Cameron Brate’s extended recovery, including catching the first TD of his career Sunday night against the Rams to win the game. That was also the first TD reception made a TE for the Buccaneers all season, showing just how much trust the rookie has from Tom Brady.

Expecting a 70-yard, 1-TD performance on a weekly basis is not likely, but if Otton’s performance showed anything, it’s that he should be trusted as a starting option moving forward, even when Brate returns.

4. Terrace Marshall Jr. – WR
8.4% Rostered
Carolina Panthers

The early castoff Terrace Marshall Jr. has finally gotten a chance to prove just how important he can be in a Carolina Panthers offense, and he’s looked good doing it too. As the QB carousel continues between P.J. Walker, Baker Mayfield, and Sam Darnold, Marshall has grown into a solid option over the past few weeks, even catching his first career TD.

Searching out a member of the Panthers for your waiver wire pickups may not be the best decision, but Marshall can be a super buy-low option that could come in handy if injuries strike.

3. Greg Dulcich – TE
28.9% Rostered
Denver Broncos

The final TE on this list is Denver rookie Greg Dulcich, who has been a major surprise and one of the better pass catchers on a struggling Broncos offense this season. As Russell Wilson continues to struggle, Dulcich has been a much-needed spark plug for the offense.

With Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy having their fair share of consistency issues, Dulcich may be the best option on that Denver team for your fantasy football team, if you still want a piece of it.

2. Rachaad White – RB
20.3% Rostered
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Those whispers you hear? That is Rachaad White and his workload creeping closer and closer to Leonard Fournette, a great sign for any roster looking for late-season running back reinforcements in your waiver wire pickups.

As the Buccaneers struggle to reinvent their offense, White has been earning a solid complimentary role on offense, and it only looks to grow. Flex value is the best that White can realistically provide you at this point, but it looks to be pretty solid value at that, something not typically found at this point of the season as a free agent.

1. Jeff Wilson Jr. – RB
44.6% Rostered
Miami Dolphins

The top option on this week’s waiver wire pickups list should be Jeff Wilson Jr., who saw his name at or near the top of this list earlier in the year for the San Francisco 49ers. Now, as a member of the Miami Dolphins, Wilson was prominently featured in his first game with his new team, and looked to be heavily involved in all the right ways for your fantasy football team.

Both in the passing and running games, Wilson looks to have already carved out a role for himself, an easy task seeing as how his new head coach, Mike McDaniel, was his coach back with the Niners.
