The Arizona Cardinals finally decided to move on from Josh Rosen by drafting Kyler Murray with the number one overall pick. Rosen was traded to the Miami Dolphins during the second day of the draft.

The Dolphins seemingly got a steal for Rosen as they only parted ways with their second round pick for Rosen and a fifth-round pick. If Rosen pans out then the Dolphins found their franchise quarterback for a fairly cheap price.

For the Cardinals, they're hoping Murray can perform at a high level in his rookie season under Kliff Kingsbury. It will be interesting to see how both quarterbacks play on their new teams.

In addition, Rosen will essentially be able to have a great chance to take the starting spot at quarterback. The Dolphins signed Ryan Fitzpatrick this offseason but you don't trade a second-round pick for a young quarterback to not play him.

Rosen had a ton of instability in Arizona with the Cardinals so he's hoping for a better situation in Miami. The Dolphins hired Brian Flores as their head coach and they brought Chad O'Shea from the New England Patriots' staff as well.

The second-year quarterback will want to prove to Miami that he can be their long-term solution under center.

Here are three bold predictions for Josh Rosen in his first season with the Dolphins.

3. 65+ Completion Percentage

Throughout Rosen's football career (including college), he's struggled with his accuracy. At UCLA, Rosen completed just 60.9% of his passes in his three years in college.

His highest completion percentage in college came in 2017, completing 62.9% of his passing attempts. Last season with the Cardinals, Rosen had an abysmal completion percentage, hitting on only 55.2% of his passes.

The 55.2 completion percentage ranked 32nd among 33 eligible quarterbacks. That can be attributed to his struggles of controlling his accuracy and the lack of elite weapons in the offense.

Rosen gets a clean slate in 2019 with a new team and essentially gets to experience a rookie season all over again.

The young quarterback will complete 65% or more of his passes in 2019, impressing the organization while he shows his true potential.

2. 25+ Touchdowns

Chad O'Shea

Again, Rosen was thrown into a very bad situation for a rookie quarterback last season. His offensive coordinator was fired early, his offensive line was awful, and the Cardinals lacked weapons.

Plus, his head coach was also given the boot after just one season with the team. Therefore, Rosen deserves another chance to show how he can be a starting quarterback for years to come.

The young signal caller will show his worth by showing how he can put up points by throwing 25 or more touchdowns. In college, Rosen only threw more than 25 touchdowns just once—which came in 2o17 when he threw 26 of them.

In 2018, Rosen only threw 11 touchdowns in 13 starts with the Cardinals.

That number should absolutely increase in 2019 with O'Shea calling the shots for the offense in Miami.

1. 4,000+ Passing Yards

As long as the Dolphins don't come out and surprise everybody, this should be Rosen's team in 2019. He'll want to limit the mistakes so he doesn't witness Fitzpatrick take his job this season or in the foreseeable future.

During his days at UCLA, Rosen never managed to eclipse 4,000 yards passing in any of his three seasons. His career-high is 3,756 yards during the 2017 season with the Bruins.

In his 13 starts in 2018, Rosen only threw for 2,278 yards in Arizona. Rosen ranked 29th in the NFL for passing yards and only threw for one more yard than Nick Mullens.

The only thing is, Mullens started in five fewer games for the San Francisco 49ers than Rosen.

The new Dolphins quarterback will be completing a ton of deep passes to Kenny Stills en route to a 4,000-yard season in 2019.
