The Green Bay Packers decided to look within the AFC North to find their next free safety. The Packers signed Adrian Amos from the Chicago Bears at the beginning of free agency.

The Amos signing wasn't the only free agent Green Bay signed—as they also added Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith to their defense. All three will be key contributors to improving the 18th ranked defense of the Packers in 2018.

With this offseason being dominated by safeties, Amos landed in Green Bay with a four-year deal. The contract has the former Bears' safety making $36 million over the four years.

Considering the other contracts that other safeties got this offseason, Amos was a steal at his price. At 25-years old, his potential is through the roof and he could become one of the best safeties in the NFL.

Packers fans are hoping that Amos makes his contract worth it, starting in 2019. Here are three bold predictions for Amos' first season in Green Bay.

3. Amos Will Rack Up 100+ Tackles

Since being drafted in 2015, Amos has shown that he can be a mainstay in the NFL. In his four seasons, he has totaled 269 tackles, three forced fumbles, and three interceptions.

The most tackles that Amos has had in one season is 73—which came in 2018 with the Bears. In 2019, Amos is going to reach the one-hundred tackle mark with the Packers.

At 6-foot, nearly 215 pounds, Amos has shown he isn't afraid to step up and make tackles when needed. Ask Jerick McKinnon.

The Packers defense will need Amos to solidify the backend of their secondary. They possess a lot of young, talented players like Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson.

The Packers signed Amos for a reason and they'll let him loose on this defense. Furthermore, Amos will eclipse the one-hundred tackle mark for the first time in his career.

2. Amos Will Get Four or More Interceptions

In his four-year career, Amos has shown the potential of becoming a ball-hawk at the safety position. The former Bears safety had three interceptions in his four seasons in Chicago.

In fact, two of those interceptions came in 2018. In 2018, Amos had career-highs in tackles, interceptions, and pass deflections.

The skills of Amos will be able to shine in Mike Pettine's defense in Green Bay. This allows Amos to receive more opportunities to create turnovers.

The more times Aaron Rodgers touches the ball, the better things are for the Packers. Amos and company will provide plenty of more chances for the offense.

In Green Bay, Amos will be relied upon more than he was in Chicago. We will get to see the best version of Amos come to fruition with the Packers—as he will get four or more interceptions in 2019.

1. Amos Will Lead the Packers to a  Top-Five Defense in the NFL

When you use the amount of money that the Packers did on their defense, you expect instant results. Amos and the defense will vastly improve the defense in 2019.

Again, in 2018, the defense was ranked 18th in total defense. The defense was ranked 12th against the pass and 22nd against the run.

With Amos on the defense, both areas will be improved in 2019. In 2018, Amos was part of a Bears defense that ranked seventh against the pass and first against the run.

There's no mistaking the fact that Amos played a key role in the Bear's defense being where it was last year. Of course, he'll get overlooked due to the play of Khalil Mack and the other guys in the secondary.

Packers fans should be ready to see a much-improved defense take the field in 2019.

The Packers haven't owned a top-five defense since 2010 but they will once again in 2019.
