The Dallas Cowboys are in desperate need of a win.

They have lost three straight since their 3-0 start, and this Sunday, first place in the NFC East is on the line as the Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles.

If Dallas wants to win this game, it is going to have to play a heck of a lot better than it did during its loss to the New York Jets last week, but the good news is that the Cowboys are getting some reinforcements, as Amari Cooper, Randall Cobb and Tyron Smith should all be available.

Given how much the Eagles' defense has struggled this season, Dallas' offense needs to be in attack mode.

So, here are three predictions for the Cowboys' offense in the team's Week 7 matchup.

3. The Cowboys will Attack the Sideline

Philadelphia's biggest weakness on defense is at cornerback, where Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas have struggled mightily.

Not that the Eagles have such great safeties, either, as Malcolm Jenkins is a step slower than previous years and Rodney McLeod isn't exactly elite, but cornerback is Philly's main area of trouble.

As a result, look for the Cowboys to attack the sidelines rather than the middle of the field, hitting Cooper and Michael Gallup for potentially big gains outside the hash marks.

That doesn't mean Dak Prescott won't throw the ball down the seam at all, but look for him to focus on picking apart the Eagles along the outside to try and consistently move the chains.

2. Amari Cooper will be Targeted Early and Often

Yes, Cooper is coming off of a quad injury and has been battling nagging foot and ankle issues all season long, but he has remained productive, and I expect that to continue this weekend.

Cooper is clearly the Cowboys' best receiver, and with the Eagles' secondary struggling the way it has been, he could be in for a huge day this weekend.

Prescott and Co. will almost surely try to take full advantage of Philly's cornerback situation, which means that Dallas will be looking to get Cooper the ball right from the get-go to establish the aerial attack.

The Birds may very well throw some double teams Cooper's way, but if they do that, Michael Gallup and Cobb may end up having their way, so Philadelphia is going to have to pick its poison.

Regardless, the Cowboys will likely attempt to make Cooper the focal point of their offense.

1. Dak Prescott will Bounce Back in a Big Way

After a torrid first two weeks of the season, Prescott has come crashing back down to earth, logging passer ratings of 91.4, 73.2, 83.8 and 89.4 over the past four games while throwing just two touchdowns and four interceptions.

But now, Prescott will get to face an ailing Eagles defense that has been shredded by opposing quarterbacks all year long, as Philly ranks 29th against the pass.

Prescott will almost definitely be more efficient than he has been in recent weeks, and while I'm not saying he will throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns again like he did in Week 1, it would not shock me if he ended up with 300-350 yards for two or three touchdowns.

If the Cowboys can't get their passing game going against the Eagles, they have severe problems.
