The NFC will run through Lambeau Field again as the Green Bay Packers clinched the top seed for the second consecutive season. It's a significant feat for Aaron Rodgers and company as they now have a bye week and home-field advantage throughout the NFL Playoffs.

Rodgers and the offense had another phenomenal performance on Sunday, beating the Minnesota Vikings, 37-10. The Packers have been excellent despite missing several key players throughout the season.

They are expected to get back Randall Cobb and hope David Bakhtiari, Jaire Alexander, and Za'Darius Smith return for the postseason. They would give an additional boost to an already fantastic team.

Here are three Packers takeaways from their big Week 17 win over the Vikings to clinch the top seed in the NFC.

3. Packers pass rush will be lethal in the NFL Playoffs

The Packers' defense has gone under the radar this season as many focus on the team's electrifying offense. The Packers have talented pass rushers in Preston Smith and Rashan Gary, who constantly put pressure on the opposing quarterback. Against the Vikings, Smith and Gary each had a sack and were in the backfield frequently.

Green Bay also has a great nose tackle in Kenny Clark, who forces a ton of attention from the defenses. If the Packers get back Za'Darius Smith, these four would be tough for any offensive line to stop. Smith had Pro Bowl seasons in his first two years with the Packers, posting 26 sacks in those seasons.

While many may not be talking about the Packers' defense, offenses will have their hands full containing this pass rush.

2. Allen Lazard and Aaron Rodgers are in sync

Although the primary connection for Rodgers is with Davante Adams, Lazard has emerged as an integral player as well. With Cobb out, Lazard has seen an increase in production and targets in the offense.

Against the Vikings, Lazard had six receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. His connection with Rodgers has grown over the years and they are finding their stride. Lazard is a physical receiver who can block in the run game and get open for his quarterback.

He can be a reliable option for Rodgers in the NFL Playoffs when other guys are held in check.

1. Packers won't be beaten at Lambeau Field

While the Packers have lost back-to-back NFC Championship Games, it is hard to see them being defeated this year. Green Bay went undefeated at home this season, and it will be difficult for any team to come into Lambeau Field in the NFL Playoffs and steal a W.

Last year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did just that and went on to win the Super Bowl. However, they are facing major injuries and it would be a challenge to overcome the Packers. The remaining top contenders in the NFC are the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, and Arizona Cardinals. All of these teams are good, but all play in warm weather and could have difficulty in the cold. Even a cold-weather team like the Vikings struggled to do anything in the chilly weather against the Packers.

Rodgers and company are accustomed to cold conditions and have the most well-rounded roster in the league. With these two factors considered, Green Bay should get past its NFC Championship Game woes and make it to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2010.

Despite all of the offseason drama, the Packers find themselves in the best position out of all the teams in the NFL. They have the MVP frontrunner in Rodgers at quarterback and a great defense to back him up. With some star players that could come back in the postseason, they should seize the opportunity and bring the Lombardi Trophy back home.
