The Washington Redskins released Josh Norman, saving them almost $9.5 million in cap space. At one point in his career, Norman was considered one of the best cornerbacks in football, but those days have come and gone. He has struggled at times in the last few years, but maybe a change in scenery is all he needs to jump-start his career.

He probably won't ever go back to the lockdown corner he once was, but on the right team, he could be a valuable asset. Let's take a look at three teams that should look at signing Norman this offseason. Whatever team does sign him will probably offer a prove-it type of deal, so there shouldn't be a whole lot of risk involved for anyone who brings him in.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills make a lot of sense becuase of familiarity and maybe they could be the team to turn his career back around. Bills coach Sean McDermott was the Panthers' defensive coordinator back in 2015 when Norman had his big breakout year. The Bills had a secondary that could use some more depth, and Norman could provide that much-needed depth.

The worst that can happen for the Bills is they are out a little money.

Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings' secondary could be completely overhauled next season, and the team might have no choice but to try and bring in Josh Norman.

Xavier Rhodes, Mackensie Alexander, and Trae Waynes all could be on new teams next season. Even if one or two of those guys leave, the Vikings' defense is going to be shorthanded. The Vikings are going to need to do something.

Mike Zimmer has historically worked well with players from the secondary, and maybe he could be the perfect guy to revive Norman's career.

Miami Dolphins

No matter what the Miami Dolphins do this offseason, they probably aren't going to be competing for the division next season (although they are still moving in the right direction).

Norman can come in and hopefully be a good locker room guy for some of the younger guys. If he plays well on the field, that's an added bonus. Maybe they could trade him before the trade deadline, and get some draft assets back. If he struggles, the team would not be out much.

Josh Norman might not want to go to South Beach, but the Dolphins should try and go after him hard.
