Brandon Aiyuk, the 25th overall pick of the San Francisco 49ers in the 2020 NFL Draft, has impressed both head coach Kyle Shanahan and tight end George Kittle. From their point of view, the rookie will be big things to the fold.

Shanahan believes that Aiyuk has the talent and the work ethic to succeed in the league. And he's expecting a productive first-year campaign from the 22-year-old.

“He has the ability, worked hard from a mental standpoint so he's earned some reps there,” Shanahan said, per Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports. “These practices are huge for a rookie like that. We're expecting him to play a lot this year just like we were expecting Deebo and Jalen last year.”

Kittle, meanwhile, pointed out what specifically makes Aiyuk an incredible wideout. The tight end noticed Aiyuk has great hands and as the speed to boot. He also has the ability to step back up after botching a play.

“The things that I've noticed is that he has incredible hands and that dude is really fast,” said 49ers tight end George Kittle, via NBC Sports Bay Area. “He doesn't even look like he's running, he just kind of glides along the ground. It's kind of insane. I like seeing how he can get in the huddle with the ones and he can execute. That's really fun to see, and, of course, we all mess up sometimes but he always comes in and catches the next ball.

“Honestly, I haven't seen him drop a pass which is pretty sick, too. He's having a great camp so far, and I know that the longer we are here and together, the better he's going to get.”

From the looks of it, the 49ers got a gem in Aiyuk. It's definitely going to be exciting to see how the rookie fares.
