San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin has a bone to pick with the NFL on multiple fronts. The speedster was crowned the winner of the 40 Yards of Gold event.

It appears Goodwin's latest display of speed drew some unwanted attention from the NFL after he was drug tested by the league following the race. Perhaps it was due to the fact that the 28-year-old shows no signs of slowing down in the near future. The 49ers are hoping he can potentially take that next step in their offense in the 2019 NFL season.

Meanwhile, Goodwin recently found out that his rating in Madden 20 was far from what he thought it would be. He took to social media following his victory and made it clear that the numbers needed to be updated, via Twitter:

It appears Goodwin has since received his wish after Madden made increases to his speed and acceleration. After all, those skills were put on display when he defeated Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Damiere Byrd, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Christian Blake of the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos running back Khalfani Muhammad, and Carolina Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson.

Goodwin's pleas should come as no surprise considering he has long been considered one of the fastest players in the league ever since he clocked a 4.27 40-yard dash at the 2013 NFL Combine. His Olympic background as a long jumper and sprinter essentially solidify this notion. It is safe to say that his speed continues to translate rather well to the gridiron after all these years.
