Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has not been shy about expressing his displeasure with his current squad. With his tenure with the Texans on the brink, other teams are looking to pry away the 3-time Pro-Bowler from Houston. The San Francisco 49ers have emerged as a potential trade destination for Watson.
Niners legend Steve Young chimed in that San Francisco should go all in and give up two first-round picks to bring in Watson, whom the 3-time Super Bowl champion called a “generational quarterback.”

Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, probably Josh Allen. Like, young guys. Justin Herbert, very quickly. I would not trade Justin Herbert for less than that, even though he's won four games or something like that. But there's something about him that really gives me that sense.”
In fact, Young admitted that the 49ers should even give up three first-rounders for Watson. He certainly did not hold back his praise for the 25-year old star.
“He is, no joke, one of the best quarterbacks in the league,” Young said. “… He is poised to be one of the generational greats, and he's already proven that he can handle it. … To me, Deshaun Watson is like, ‘Wow. I want that.'
Wow, that's as extraordinary a praise as anyone could get, especially from an all-timer like Young. Watson has certainly proven how special he is in his first four seasons so far.
