It doesn't look like Terrell Owens is interested in burying the hatchet with Steve Mariucci anytime soon, if the latest reports are to be believed.

According to the Athletic, Owens will finally be inducted into the 49ers Hall of Fame, and frankly, every fan knows that they've all seen better days when it comes to their relationship. They've had what can generously be called a “tenuous relationship,” and they've only both recently come to terms.

While Terrell Owens admits that many of the selfish comments he received came from Steve Mariucci — for which he at least can be commended for having that sense of self-awareness — he doesn't feel it's ever going to come to the two of them having a meeting of the minds.

“No, I’m not really open to that. People want to say that I was a selfish person, this, that and the other, and I created a lot of division and headache in the locker room. Some of the things that have been said about me, I’m pretty sure a lot of it probably came from him. I don’t think he could really give you a clue because he never took the time to really get to know who I was. I think that’s really, really sad.”

A former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League for 16 seasons, and a six-time Pro Bowl selection and five-time first-team All-Pro, Terrell Owens ranks third among NFL receiving yards leaders (15,934 yards), and co-shares several other NFL all-time records.
