There are benefits to dropping 51 points on the Carolina Panthers. One of them is Brett Favre, at least for San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

After San Francisco's big win, Favre dropped by Kittle's locker to congratulate him and wish him the best of luck.

Notice the shirt on Favre, which says “TE.” That's likely to pay respect for the newest holiday: National Tight End Day, which takes place on Oct. 27. Kittle represented the holiday well on Sunday, tallying six receptions for 86 yards while also paving way for a lethal rushing attack.

One thing is certain after watching Favre and Kittle visit. We need more of it. Both are the epitome of “football guys.” One an all-time great quarterback, the other one of the NFL's best tight ends in the NFL. A TV show with the two — talking about who knows what — just makes sense.
