The Hitman series is one of the best stealth franchise games of all time as you can finally unleash the inner secret agent in you. You're even given a plethora of options in assassinating your targets. You could cause an unexpected mishap like the collapse of a chandelier, or you could sneak your way inside the mansion and throw someone off the balcony. If you prefer the traditional assassination route, then perhaps the sniper rifle is your best friend. The methods of killing your targets are limitless so be sure to experiment. You'll end up laughing seeing your enemies murdered in style.

So far, the World of Assassination series have been well received by the community as the 1st and 2nd Hitman games were lauded by critics. Will it score a hat trick with the upcoming Hitman game? So far the trailers look badass, but let's hope that the actual game lives up to the prestige of these trailers as well as its predecessors.

Not much is revealed in the game's story but the premise is pretty straightforward. You travel across multiple locations to hunt your targets down. The upcoming installment features new locations as you traverse the cities of Dubai, Dartmoor, Berlin, Chongqing, Mendoza, and the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. If you have a copy of the previous installments in the World of Assassination series, you can import the maps and levels from these games to Hitman 3.

However, there is a massive twist and the developers are facing a heavy load of scrutiny. PC users who already have Hitman 2 will have to re-purchase the game to transport their files to Hitman 3. The developers are currently looking for a solution. To make matters worse, Hitman 3 doesn't have a multiplayer mode as compared to its previous iteration.

As for the franchise's future, the developers noted that this will be the last game for the World of Assassination series, however this will not be the last Hitman game.

The game is set to be released on January 20, 2021 on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStations 4 and 5, Stadia, Xbox One and Series X/S.
