And just like that, fans of AEW finally know who will represent the promotion at Forbidden Door in the main event bout to decide the promotion's Interim World Championship: Jon Moxley.

Yes, as if there was ever any doubt, the former World Champion, who won the belt against Chris Jerico in February of 2020 at Revolution and lost it to Kenny Omega that December at Winter Is Comming, was able to overcome an already tired Kyle O'Reilly in a pretty impressive showcase at the end of Dynamite to punch his ticket to Forbidden Door and face off against the winner of Hirooki Goto-Hiroshi Tanahashi, who will face off in New Japan at Dominion on June 12th.

If you like professional wrestling even a little bit, this was a match you can't miss.

Despite having already won a 21-man Battle Royal to earn a spot in the match, KOR came out of the gates hot and gave Moxey everything he had. The duo grappled early, with O'Reilly attempting some kicks early on, and Moxley having an answer for everything thrown at him. William Regal, tasked with commentary duty alongside ‘Mr. Ross,' ‘Mr. Schiavone' and ‘the man in a mask' imparted the match with his usual brand of elegant intensity and, at one point, shouted ‘forget entertainment, this is wrestling' as the match ramped up towards its inevitable crescendo: A paradigm shift on one half of ReDRagon and a trip to the pay window on the count of three.

Now afforded his third chance to wrestle for the World Heavyweight Championship, even if it's for the Interim Title this time around, let's see if the man called Mox can go 2-1 in the pursuit of AEW gold.
