SEA Dota 2 Division II Team Orca has been disqualified from the DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2. The team has also been indefinitely banned by Valve, alongside Team Apex. This means that Ahjit, vtfaded, their three Orca teammates, and the five players from Team Apex have been permanently banned from joining future DPC events and events organized by Valve.

An investigation by the SEA DPC organizers has found that Team Orca players have piloted Team Apex accounts during one of their official matches.

“During the recent DPC SEA Qualifiers, evidence shows that Team Orca players used Team Apex accounts to compete on their behalf. This is an unacceptable breach of competitive integrity from both teams.”

Having other players compete on your behalf in any tournament is a form of cheating.

Earlier, fans have noticed an odd instance of disconnection from the side of Team Apex in one of their matches. The two disconnected and immediately reconnected. However, tech-savvy fans noted that the two new instances of the accounts were logged in from a different location and with considerably less ping, raising suspicions. While the organizers did not specify who did the exact moves, some fans allege that it was the two stars: vtfaded and Ahjit. This has not been confirmed by the organizers. Regardless of which specific player did the cheating, both teams were banned wholesale.

Team Orca members were also implicated in a match-fixing scandal from the previous tournaments, and have been found guilty of match-fixing alongside Team Apex. As a result of these investigations, Team Orca and Team Apex have been indefinitely banned from future DPC events and Valve-initiated tournaments.
