Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu will be sidelined for the next two weeks due to a left calf injury.
Blazers head coach Terry Stotts spoke to the media on Friday, confirming that Aminu will have to “be re-evaluated in a couple weeks”, as per Mike Richman of Oregon Live.

The 26-year-old picked up the injury on Tuesday during the first quarter of Portland’s game against the Phoenix Suns at the Moda Center. Maurice Harkless replaced Aminu for the majority of the game at the power forward position. For the next game, Noah Vonleh filled the role in his absence against the Los Angeles Clippers.

So far in the 2016-2017 season, Aminu has averaged 6.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 26.1 minutes over the span of eight games in which he started.
