Rumors are swirling that James Harden wants to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets to form a big three with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Though the names look good together on paper, some have doubts about whether the team will actually be good. Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers shared his initial thoughts on the potential team-up.

Davis appeared on Da Windy City podcast with Mark Carman where he talked about the recent trade rumor. While he hasn't completely reflected on the possibility of a Harden-Durant-Irving trio, he believes that the Nets have something good if the deal pushes through.

“You’ve got a great coach over there, great minded guy who knows the game from a point guard position. If it happens it happens, if it doesn’t it doesn’t. I am trying to figure out what Anthony Davis is going to do. Once I figure that out we’ll start looking at teams and things like that but that will be a pretty good team though.”

Recent reports reveal that there's not much traction regarding Harden's request to go to Brooklyn. While the ideal scenario would be to trade the Nets' role players in exchange for Harden, the Rockets are not interested in that type of deal. Rather, they want either Durant or Irving in exchange for Harden.

Be as it may, it's an interesting answer from Davis who's about to defend their title in the coming season. Even without James Harden, the Nets are considered a legitimate title threat.
