Xavi Hernandez reveals that he would be open to making a return to the Camp Nou should Barcelona President Joan Laporta approach him.

Xavi previously stated in June that he was ready for the job despite the club sticking with Ronald Koeman for the time being. He mentioned that although he isn't in a rush, it would be a dream to return to Barcelona — if and when they call, he'll be ready.

Via David Wood:

“Any offer that arrives will be valued and decided,”
“I don’t know what will happen in the future, but I am open to all possibilities.”

In previous reports, Laporta has been somewhat reluctant to offering Xavi a head coaching job so early into his managerial career — though the former club captain was already offered the job on a few occasions, both parties felt that the time was not right for Xavi to take on the role.

Likewise, former Barcelona teammate, Luis Suarez, advised Xavi not to take the job as he believes it could damage the Barcelona legend's legacy at the club given that Barca is in chaos at the moment.

Koeman has been heavily criticized by Barcelona fans this season, and if the team continues its series of poor performances and questionable antics, there will be no doubt that fans at the Camp Nou will be demanding the club for a change at the helm.
