Those who have pulled a redemption card straight out from the pack know the sudden rush of adrenaline and excitement from such a moment. More often than not, the cards that can be obtained from these redemptions are worth the wait. This isn't the case, though, with one collector who waited a long time for Topps to deliver his prize.

Just recently, Goldin shared a photo on their official Instagram account showing a redemption card signed by the player featured on it. Ryan Channels, the photo's original source, said that a certain Craig has been waiting for Topps to make good on their promise to deliver a Sterling Die-Cut Superfractor parallel auto of Wander Franco since 2019. Turns out, Craig got tired of waiting and got the job done himself.

Rather than wait for something indefinite from the baseball card company, Craig himself went the extra mile and had the redemption card signed by the Tampa Bay Rays' star shortstop. As of now, there aren't any details yet on how or where the actual signing occurred, and if the actual card will still be delivered.

Another uncertain factor about this signed redemption card is whether it's more valuable than the actual item from Topps or not. Heading over to eBay, the base version of this card encased in a gem-mint PSA 10 slab is worth $691. It's safe to say that the Superfractor parallel can go for more in the market.

It remains to be seen where the one signed personally by Franco will have a better outlook than the actual Topps card. In any case, Craig will still come out as the winner in this situation, especially if Topps delivers the card to him in the soonest time possible.
