Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery was held out of practice on Wednesday due to shoulder/groin/glute injuries. It is unclear if he is going to miss Sunday's game as the Bears are taking on their rival, the Green Bay Packers.

This would be a tough loss for the Bears because Montgomery is about the only guy who has done much for their offense this season. He has 134 carries for 566 yards and four touchdowns. It would make sense that the Bears decide to sit him unless he is fully healthy because they are already out of playoff contention and don't want to risk an injury for the future.

This was another disappointing season for the Bears as they are currently 4-8. They haven't been able to develop their young quarterback Justin Fields as much as they were hoping for as he has also been dealing with some injuries throughout the season.

Chicago seems to have a dark cloud over their organization as it seems as if nothing can go right for the Bears. They have a long ways to go until they are finally contenders, but keeping guys healthy is their biggest concern to being successful in the future.

They have a tough game on Sunday against the Packers, Green Bay has found success against the Bears for most of the past decade. It's going to be interesting to see what Aaron Rodgers does after making his comments to the Bears last time they played that he owns them. Not having Montgomery certainly won't help as the Bears are going to be struggling to find some options.
