The Chicago Bears had their 2018 season come to an end with Cody Parkey missing a 43-yard field goal in the NFC Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Since then, the Bears have had a plethora of kickers try to make an impression on the team, with no one separating themselves from the pack.

Albeit, the New York Jets believe Chicago will trade for Baltimore Ravens' kicker Kaare Vedvik per Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News. Similar to the Bears, the Jets are also in the market for a kicker.

As many know, the Ravens have arguably the best kicker in the league in Justin Tucker. Despite that, Baltimore has a backup in Vedvik who is turning some heads after his preseason debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In the Ravens preseason opener, Vedvik made went 4-4 for his field-goal attempts and 2-2 on extra points. Furthermore, the Ravens prized backup made two field-goals over 40 yards—including a 55-yarder.

If being perfect on his field-goal tries wasn't enough, Vedvik also took the field as the punter on two occasions. Impressively, the Ravens backup kicker averaged 55.5 yards per punt. At the least, Chicago could bring him in to punt the ball through the uprights.

Currently, the Bears have Elliott Fry and Eddy Pineiro competing for their starting kicker spot. In Chicago's first preseason contest, Fry made his only field-goal attempt from 43 yards out. On the other hand, Pineiro made only one of his two tries, along with missing a 48-yard kick.

Neither of the guys have been consistent enough to secure the job just yet. However, both of them could lose the job if Chicago decides to make a move for Kaare Vedvik of the Ravens.
