Since suffering a fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone of his right foot during the Philadelphia 76ers‘ training camp in September, many have speculated when Ben Simmons would actually make his NBA debut. Just recently, he may have given a hint on when it might be.

The 20-year-old LSU product liked a tweet which asked him to do so if he plans to return to action before the All-Star break.

When he'll play his first game for the Sixers in the regular season has remained a mystery for almost two months now, with some even thinking that he won't play this season at all after his agent hinted on that possibility.

However, with this unexpected development, the Philly faithful will certainly have something positive to look forward to as this year's top-overall pick may finally play for their team in the next couple of months.

If he indeed plays before the mid-season showcase, it will be huge boost to the Sixers who own a dismal record to start the season. Simmons' presence will bring a lot of optimism to their fans and might just be what they need to string some wins together.
