A bomb has been officially dropped by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green and it carries nowhere near the impact many thought it'd have.

The stud weapon makes it crystal clear that he's not looking for a new contract, per the Cincinnati Enquirer.

“I think the biggest thing for me, I’m always comfortable with stuff I’m doing – I signed a deal and I’m comfortable with the deal and I just live with it,” Green told the Cincinnati Enquirer. “After that’s up, we go back to the board. I don’t really get caught up in what’s the money like because I signed my deal and it was the highest paid at that point. It’s going to always go up. So you can’t keep up with that.”

Green, 29, is nothing short of a new-aged receiving revelation.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and coming in at just 210 pounds, his tall, lengthy body allows him to go up and get the ball at its highest point unlike any of his NFL colleagues. Through seven years in the league, he's qualified for the Pro Bowl every season.

A year ago, Green collected 1,078 yards and eight touchdowns on 75 total grabs in 16 games played. It was simply another year in the impressive career of the lanky one.

This offseason has raised questions about Green's future in Cincy. While many thought Green was unhappy about his current contractual situation, it turns out as the exact opposite.

“For me, I just keep everything simple,” Green said. “I really don’t try to get into all that other stuff. At the end of the day I just want to play football. I got my contract. I’m set for life. Now I can just go out there and play.”

It'll be $10.55 million in 2018 and $11.976 million in 2019 prior to entering free agency for A.J. Green.
