Over the past few seasons, AJ Green hasn't had much luck with injuries. This season has already gotten off to a rough start for the Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, A.J. Green is expected to be out 6-8 weeks and will miss Cincinnati's Week 1 game versus the Seattle Seahawks. This isn't how Cincinnati coach Zac Taylor envisioned his first training camp.

On Saturday, AJ Green was carted off the field with murmurs among the fans, hoping their leading wideout was going to receive positive news. After undergoing an MRI, Green has avoided a season-ending injury, but he did suffer some torn ligaments in his ankle.

Now, the Bengals and Andy Dalton will have to wait to get their best receiving option back in mid-September, since Green is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with an injury to his left ankle.
