Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals entered Super Bowl 56 as the underdogs against the Los Angeles Rams. They didn't play like ones, though, as they had the Rams chasing the game for pretty much the entire contest. It was LA that eventually took home the Vince Lombardi trophy, but what we cannot take away from Burrow and the Bengals is that they had an absolutely unforgettable run.

Burrow was anything but a household name prior to what turned out to be an iconic sophomore campaign for him. As a matter of fact, the Bengals star literally had to introduce himself to the likes of Von Miller and Aaron Donald during the Super Bowl game itself (h/t NFL Films on Twitter):

The Rams know all about Joe Burrow and they've studied him for countless hours before they faced off against him last Sunday. However, this turned out to be the first time Burrow met Miller, Donald, and Eric Weddle in person. The 25-year-old quarterback exhibited great sportsmanship here by reaching out to these three Rams stars during the game.

Aaron Donald, in particular, looked absolutely locked in and it didn't seem like he was in the mood for pleasantries. Burrow had an endearing moment with Weddle, though, as the pair exchanged praise on the field. Burrow is truly one of a kind and the Bengals franchise can count themselves lucky to have him on their side.
