Goodbyes are always difficult, and it's especially hard when it comes to sports teams and their favorite players. One can only imagine the bittersweet feeling the Cincinnati Bengals had to go through as Tyler Eifert decided to part with the team and join the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 2020 campaign.

In this tough goodbye, Eifert wrote up a heart-warming tribute to Bengals fans that whole-heartedly supported the tight end though his seven years with the franchise.

“Cincinnati, I have called you home for the last 7 years. I appreciate the city, the organization, and will always miss the fans in the jungle! I will cherish the time spent with some of the best athletes in the league, the experiences in Paul Brown stadium, and wearing 85 for the Bengals. Special thanks to Mike Brown and his family for giving me an opportunity in this league and sticking with me through the ups and downs! Hopefully I'll see you guys in the AFC Championship next year. #WHODEY”

Eifert proved himself to be a reliable target for the Bengals through the years. In his seven-year career, he has notched 2,152 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns to his name. The Jaguars should expect the same level of production from him in the next seven years of his career.
