Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver Tee Higgins has already established a friendly relationship with former Bengals star Chad Johnson.

Higgins decided to wear No. 85 in Johnson's honor, and the man formerly known as “Ochocinco” has praised Higgins' potential.

But Chad is also hoping to spark some friendly competition.

Johnson and Higgins got on a Zoom call to discuss Higgins' Madden rating, but Johnson quickly altered the topic by challenging Tee to a race.

Johnson joked Higgins is “running” from him, adding he would “lock” Higgins up. Meanwhile, Higgins would not back down, saying “I'm on my way.”

The Bengals would certainly be pleased with their new No. 85 resembling the old one.

Cincy made Higgins the first pick of the second round this past April. The former Clemson star joins A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd in what might be one of the more talented receiving corps in the league if everyone stays healthy.

Higgins had 1,167 yards and 13 touchdowns at Clemson last season. The Bengals will hope that production carries over into his rookie year.
