Series Total Games: Celtics-Warriors Odds

4 Games: (+650)

5 Games: (+250)

6 Games: (+190)

7 Games: (+185)

Why Bettors Should Consider This Prop Bet

A series total-games prop bet has fantastic value. With all of the odds available, these give you the chance to make money regardless of who wins. Obviously, a sweep in the NBA Finals is rare and it hasn't happened since the Warriors swept the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2018. But, let's say you are confident in at least both teams winning at least one game, then betting on this series to end in Game 5 or game 6 is beneficial. Just a 50$ bet could win you over or close 100$ in something that will likely happen.

The Warriors are the favorite to lift the trophy but do not sleep on the Celtics. I would seriously consider putting some money down on this series going at least five games. The Celtics won three games on the road in Miami during the Eastern Conference Finals. With how elite they are regardless of location, that should tell you that this series will be closer than many think.

Series Highest Points Per Game Average: Celtics-Warriors Odds

Jayson Tatum: (-110)

Steph Curry: (+130)

Jaylen Brown: (+650)

Klay Thompson: (+3400)

Andrew Wiggins: (+9500)

Jordan Poole: (+9500)

Why Bettors Should Consider This Prop Bet

Jayson Tatum and Steph Curry are the top two players left in the playoffs and that means they are the two favorites two take home the scoring title for this series. Whoever does lead this series in scoring, will likely win the 2022 NBA Finals MVP award unless they are on the losing team. The NBA Finals MVP is a whole separate topic, however, as we are focusing strictly on scoring here.

Tatum is the favorite here. Big Duece has led the Celtics to the finals for the first time in his young career. Tatum is averaging 27 points during the postseason and will likely average around that number during these finals. The team relies on his production for them to be successful and if he isn't on his game, then the Celtics will have a hard time winning this series. Expect Tatum to continue his hot run and be the main threat for the Celtics this series. Jaylen Brown can score very well, especially if there is a guard defending him. Although, he likely won't outscore Tatum in this series … but it is possible.

Curry will likely lead the Warriors in scoring and it's also possible he outscored Tatum in this series. Curry is averaging 25.9 points per game during these playoffs and will likely score at the same pace in the finals. However, this Celtics defense is the best in the NBA and Marcus Smart will be on Curry's hip all series long. With Thompson almost back to his normal self, and Poole able to score, I think Curry will not have to score as much for them to win this series.

For this prop bet, focus primarily on Tatum and Curry, as those two will more than likely be the scoring leaders for this series.

Celtics-Warriors Prediction: 7 Games (+185); Jayson Tatum (-110)
