Why The Pacers Could Cover The Spread

The Pacers are getting some points here, and have been competitive this season despite their record. Indiana actually has a positive point differential despite being five games under .500 for the season. Indiana is just 3-12 on the road this season as they have really struggled to pull out wins away from home. The Bulls will be a tough test, so this may be an uphill battle for the Pacers. A cover may be feasible but it seems unlikely Indiana will pull out the win here.
The Pacers are 4-5-1 in their last ten games vs. the spread, and 6-9 vs. the spread overall on the road this season. Indiana is 6-2 vs. the spread as away underdogs this season, as they typically fight and stay in games. Indiana has covered just once in their last four games. Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread
The Bulls continue to play well this season as they have found a nice mix under Billy Donovan. Donovan will miss this one as he recently entered the NBA's health and safety protocols. The Bulls and Pacers are two of the few NBA teams who have zero players in the protocols as of Sunday morning. Chicago will be without Alex Caruso, Derrick Jones Jr. and Patrick Williams in this one due to injury.
Chicago is 9-5 vs. the spread at home this season and 7-4 against the number as home favorites. The Bulls have covered just once in their past four games, but have beat the spread in three of their last four games at home. Chicago will be a solid pick to cover and win regardless, but especially if Sabonis and/or Brogdon are unable to go.
