Ex-NBA player Joe Johnson is lighting it up in the Big3 this season. He's averaging NBA-like numbers in the league en route to leading his team, the Triplets, to the championship round. There are a lot of people who are optimistic about Iso Joe's chances of making it back to the NBA next season, including fellow Big3 player Brian Scalabrine.

Johnson is putting up close to 21 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in the Big3. He's the overwhelming favorite to win this season's MVP award, and he has an opportunity to lead his team to a title. Joe is hoping that his stellar performance would catapult him back into the NBA.

The 37-year-old guard last played in the NBA during the 2017-18 season, where he had stints with the Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets. He averaged 6.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 55 games. Although he's no longer the prolific scorer that he once was, Joe still believes that he has a lot left in his tank. He can definitely provide decent numbers for a championship-contending team.

As for his future with the Big3, Johnson has already stated that he's unsure if he'll be back with the league next season. He said that summers are usually the only time he's able to spend quality time with his family, and the Big3 schedule will probably prevent him from doing just that.

If Johnson secures an NBA contract this upcoming season, then it is more likely that he won't be back with the Big3.

Right now, Iso Joe wants to end his NBA career on a good note, hopefully, with a championship. It is unclear what his move will be if he's not back in the NBA this upcoming season.
