The Buffalo Bills 2024 NFL schedule is officially out and we now know what the team's next campaign will look like. Josh Allen and company will face a slew of division winners in the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers, and they are tied for the second-most primetime games with five. With that in mind, here are our Bills game-by-game predictions after the 2024 NFL schedule release.

Week 1 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins (10) catches a game-winning touchdown catch over Bill's Tre'Davious White (27) and Micah Hyde (23) with 2 seconds lett in the fourth quarter at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. on Nov. 15, 2020.

The Bills haven't faced the Cardinals since the infamous Hail Murray in 2020. Since then, these franchises have gone in opposite directions, with Buffalo ascending to the top of the NFL and Arizona only rising to the top of the NFL Draft.

With a massive early-season AFC East matchup and a short week on deck, the Bills should be able to take care of business with relative ease in this opener. That said, is anything ever easy when you expect it to be with Josh Allen and the Bills? Still, chalk this up as a W for Buffalo. WIN, 1-0

Week 2 at Miami Dolphins (Thursday Night Football)

The NFL didn't wait long to put a big game on the Bills' 2024 schedule. This game will set the tone for the AFC East this season and give whoever wins an early leg up in the long race to the division crown. The good news here is that while it could be a hot one in South Beach this early in the season, a night game means no sun beating down on the Bills' sideline.

Without their heat advantage, look for the Bills to perform better than they usually do in Miami early in seasons. Both these teams have lots of talent but also some major holes. Only one team has Allen, though, and that's who wins here. WIN, 2-0

Week 3 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Monday Night Football)

Last season, the Bills suffered a ridiculous loss to the Jaguars in England on a week where the Jags got to stay on the other side of the pond. This season, Buffalo gets Jacksonville in Orchard Park in primetime on a Monday night.

The other issue in these teams' 2023 matchup was that the Bills lost DaQuan Jones and Matt Milano for most of (Jones) and the entire (Milano) season in this tilt. In 2024, if the Bills are fully healthy, they should take this one in the Gabriel Davis revenge game. WIN, 3-0

Week 4 at Baltimore Ravens (Sunday Night Football)

This starts a brutal stretch of three straight road games for the Bills which includes two division winners and an AFC East rival, with two of these games in primetime. The Ravens are a tough matchup for the Bills, but with Milano back healthy, the team will have their Lamar Jackson spy in action.

The Week 4-6 gauntlet will wear the Bills down eventually, but in this game, look for Buffalo to come out on top as Josh Allen beats the reigning NFL MVP and puts his own name at the top of the 2024 MVP leaderboard. WIN, 4-0

Week 5 at Houston Texans

The Stefon Diggs game is going to be a brutal one for the Bills. Going to Texas on a semi-short week after a late Sunday game for a 1 pm ET start will take its toll, and this game is a massive statement matchup for the upstart Texans.

CJ Stroud and company are going to throw everything they have into this game, and as such, will come away with the win. Don't fret, though, Bills Mafia. Buffalo will see Houston again in the playoffs and things will be a lot different then. LOSS, 4-1

Week 6 at New York Jets (Monday Night Football)

The Bills were there for the end of the Jets season last year, four plays into the 2023 campaign when Aaron Rodgers went out.  Still, Allen somehow found a way to lose that contest.

This year, assuming the Bills won't sweep the AFC East and Rodgers stays healthy at least this long, this seems like the surprise game Buffalo will lose. When they do, Bills Mafia will be left shaking their heads and the national media will have a field day pronouncing the Bills' season over. So, that will be fun! LOSS, 4-2

Week 7 vs. Tennessee Titans

What's the best remedy for a two-game losing streak? Hosting Will Levis and the Titans! Tennessee is not ready for primetime this season, and after firing Mike Vrabel, it's going to take some time to get back on track. There is a little 2023 Denver Broncos game vibes here, but let's say the Bills get right and take home the win. WIN, 5-2

Week 8 at Seattle Seahawks

This is another spot where the Bills' 2024 schedule does the team no favors. Just a week removed from that tough three-game stretch, the Bills have to travel 2,500 miles west and play at one of the toughest stadiums in the NFL.

With new coach Mike Macdonald, the Seattle defense should be improved, and while the Bills and Seahawks haven't played each other in a while, the former Ravens DC knows the AFC East team well. Plus, with the Dolphins and Chiefs incoming, this has all the makings of a trap game for the Bills. LOSS, 5-3

Week 9 vs. Miami Dolphins

While the Bills got a break in Week 2 playing in Miami at night, the Dolphins catch a break here, playing in Buffalo in early November instead of early December. As Western New Yorkers know all too well, there could easily be a snowstorm a few days after Halloween, but Dolphins probably catch a weather break here.

The Bills haven't lost to the Dolphins in their last four meetings. The last time Mike McDaniel bested Sean McDermott was in Week 3 of 2022 in the infamous Tua Tagovailoa concussion game. Like in the 1990s with Dan Marino and Jim Kelly, Miami is a good team, but just as good as Buffalo, so look for the home team to sweep the season series. WIN, 6-3

Week 10 at Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are an interesting up-and-coming squad with a young QB in Anthony Richardson who gets a lot of Josh Allen comparisons. Richardson is not Allen yet, though, and McDermott has been good at scheming things up against running QBs. Even with the distraction of the Chiefs game looming, the Bills should still have enough to add to their win column here. WIN, 7-3

Week 11 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Here it is. Another game against the Chiefs. The truth is, though, the Bills have a three-game regular-season win streak going against Patrick Mahomes and company, even though the AFC West squad is still Buffalo's playoff kryptonite.

This season, though, may go a little different. At this point of the NFL season, the Bills will be limping toward their later bye, and the Chiefs may need to start turning it on if their division (specifically the Chargers) is improved from last year. Kansas City can take this one, and maybe Buffalo will finally save their big win over Mahomes for the postseason. LOSS, 7-4

Week 12 BYE WEEK

Once again, the Bills get a late-season bye week. Last year, it was Week 13 and it set Buffalo up for an undefeated stretch run. This year, it allows Bills Mafia to comfortably get ready for Thanksgiving, and to take their snowblowers in for the yearly tune-up if they haven't had to break them out already.

Week 13 vs. San Francisco 49ers (Sunday Night Football)

C9ming out of the bye, the Bills will once again be ready to roll down the home stretch. The team hasn't seen this Kyle Shanahan version of the 49ers over the last few seasons, but they'll be ready for them.

San Francisco has its bye in Week 9, so there's a chance they are banged up here. Look for Buffalo to make a primetime statement here that they are ready for a tough stretch run and playoffs by beating an excellent NFC West opponent. WIN, 8-4

Week 14 at Los Angeles Rams

Another long flight on a semi-short week will be tough for Allen and his teammates, but this year's Rams won't be the same as last year's pleasantly surprising squad.  With no Aaron Donald, this defense just won't be the same, so the Bills offense will have a field day on the turf at SoFi and win this one easily. WIN, 9-4

Week 15 at Detroit Lions

This will be the game of the second half of the Bills season here. Going to Detroit to face a Lions team that likely will (also) need this win to keep pace in the division and maybe even the conference is a major challenge. However, the Bills will be up to this challenge and will prove their big-game mettle here.

Once again, this game will come down to one or two small factors, and in the NFL, one of those factors in games like this is almost always the quarterback. Jared Goff may make more money after signing his new deal, but we all know who the better signal-caller is, and he'll win the game. WIN, 10-4

Week 16 vs. New England Patriots

The Bills' 2024 NFL schedule wraps up with a trio of games against AFC East rivals. First and last up are the Patriots, who always give the Bills problems, no matter the talent level of the team. That was mostly because of Bill Belichick, though, and now that he is gone, this will be a much more normal game for Buffalo. And after decades of being on the wrong side of blowouts, the Bills will finally get their revenge and run up the score here. WIN, 11-4

Week 17 vs. New York Jets

After dropping a game in New Jersey early in the season, the Bills will look to get their revenge here on the Jets. The weather here will be nasty and the Bills Mafia will be even nastier. Aaron Rodgers (if he's still around) will talk his crap before this game and the home team will have even more motivation than usual.

This is Bills football at its best. Led by James Cook and rookie Ray Davis, Buffalo will pound the Jets on the ground, and every time the team scores columns of snow will go up into the cold afternoon air.  WIN 12-4

Week 18 at New England Patriots

This could easily be a loss with Mitchell Trubisky under center in the Bills have nothing to play for here at 12-4. After going 5-1 in the AFC East, the division should be wrapped up, but the No. 1 overall seed and Allen's MVP Award may still be in play. If that's the case, look for Buffalo to put an exclamation point on the season heading into a first-round bye. Bills by a billion. WIN, 13-4
