Buffalo Bills co-owner Kim Pegula is now “recovering well” after a health scare pushed the wife of Terry Pegula to receive medical care.

Two weeks ago, the Pegula family released a statement about Kim's condition, revealing that she suffered unexpected health issues. While the statement did not include specific details on the ailment, the Bills and Sabres owners did highlight that Mrs. Pegula “has an exceptional team of medical experts at her side.”

Now, in the latest update from the family, they revealed that the Bills owner is “rehabilitating from a health issue” with medical professionals providing her consistent care.

“Kim is progressing well and is resting and rehabilitating from a health issue,” the statement reads, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. “We are grateful for the medical professionals providing her care and to everyone for their prayers and well wishes. We ask that you please continue to respect our need for privacy during this time.”

This is certainly welcome news for the Bills and their fanbase. The 56-year-old Kim Pegula is a trailblazer in the industry, being the first woman to serve as team president in both the NFL and NHL.

Kim and her husband Terry bought the Sabres in 2011. Three years later in 2014, they got the Bills. Here's to hoping that Mrs. Pegula recovers soon.
