The Portland Trail Blazers caused quite a stir in the summer of 2016 when they decided to extend a four-year, $70 million contract to then-free agent Evan Turner. He has since been playing decent basketball for them, but has received a lot of criticism for being considered as overpaid. However, he recently found out that someone believes he deserves the lucrative contract he's currently on.

After Turner fired back at his critics for all the negative comments they said about him, Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons reacted to the Blazers guard's quote with a simple fist Emoji, which meant that he supports his thoughts about the issue, via a photo from imgur.

Chandler Parsons himself is no stranger to being called overpaid as well. after agreeing to a max four-year, $94 million deal with the Grizzlies two summers ago. He has only seen action in 64 games so far for them, as he has suffered multiple injuries that have caused him to remain on the shelf for significant amounts of time. The Florida product has also produced lackluster numbers of 7.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 19.9 minutes per game, which is way less than what was expected from him, especially with the size of his current contract.

For what it's worth, Chandler may have felt that he also deserves the salary he is earning for playing well prior to his move to Memphis. The only difference is that Evan Turner has played more for the Blazers and is an integral part of their rotation. If he can return healthy and be on the level he was at before his series of injuries, it will be Chandler's chance to silence his critics.
