Blazers star CJ McCollum delivers emotional message to Postmates after ‘clutch’ summer
The Portland Trail Blazers have quite the player in veteran shooting guard CJ McCollum. While McCollum certainly excels on the court, it might be his personality and ability to connect with NBA fans away from the court that sets him apart from many others around the league.
Although thoughtful and passionate most of the time, McCollum is also hilarious and has taken over Twitter in a big way more than once. The Blazers two-guard was at it again on Tuesday evening as McCollum tweeted the following message to … Postmates?
I just want to thank you for holding me down during some tough nights . .You’ve been so clutch and crucial in my conquest for healthy food delivery options during my summer Netflix binge watching …Postmates. We appreciate you .

Of course, this is just the latest event in a series of memorable occurrences for McCollum this offseason. For starters, the longtime Blazers backcourt staple signed a four-year, $106.6 million contract extension with the Western Conference franchise back in July. Such a deal also includes an annual average salary of just over $26 million.
McCollum and the Blazers continue to serve as one of the most dangerous teams in the entire NBA and especially in the Western Conference. However, Portland has yet to overcome the final hurdle that is advancing to the NBA Finals, having lost to the Golden State Warriors three times in the last four playoffs.
Portland reached the West Finals last year but eventually got swept by the Warriors.
