Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum has been watching a lot of basketball lately as he remains out due to a fracture in his left foot. He poked fun of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James after the four-time MVP badly missed on an airball from the logo during their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

The Blazers guard spoke about it in a recent interview, via NBA on ESPN on YouTube:

McCollum clarified that he is comfortable with making fun of the Lakers star because he's already known James since he was 13. The two players are also famously known to be natives of Ohio with James making a name for himself in the small city of Akron while McCollum grew up in nearby Canton. He also admitted that he isn't spreading unnecessary hate and will definitely troll James in person if he only had the chance to do so.

Moreover, the 29-year-old Blazers shooting guard bared that he will do the same to his backcourt partner in Damian Lillard if he was the one who air-balled the logo shot. However, that is not proving to be the case as Lillard has been turning things up a notch since McCollum got injured. With his stellar play on the floor, he is currently leading the Blazers on a six-game winning streak to hold an 18-10 record for the fourth spot in the Western Conference.

CJ McCollum has been away from the team since Jan. 16 after he suffered a foot fracture midway through their game against the Atlanta Hawks. He is expected to return to action in two to three weeks' time and finally help Portland tighten their grip on a playoff spot as the season progresses.
