Damian Lillard's list of accolades just gained an impressive new entry, as he is now the fastest player in Trail Blazers history to reach 12,000 career points.

Lillard achieved this feat in 514 games, which tops the marks set by Clyde “The Glide” Drexler and LaMarcus Aldridge, according to Justin Kubatko of StatMuse.

Lillard logged 37 minutes in Monday night's 115-107 loss to the Sacramento Kings, scoring a team-high 35 points on 11-of-27 shooting from the field (4-of-12 from beyond the arc and 9-of-9 from the free throw line), five assists, three rebounds and one steal.

During his post-game media availability, Lillard gave thanks to all of the coaches and teammates he's been affiliated with over the course of his career in the league.

“A lot of guys who come into the league who are capable of doing the same thing don't get the opportunity, the trust or the freedom,” Lillard told ESPN. “I'm really thankful for the coaching staff that I play for and the teammates that I've been fortunate enough to play with.”

Lillard, who's currently averaging 26.0 points and 6.1 assists, has been on a tear as of late. According to ESPN, the former No. 6 overall pick has scored in double figures in 184 consecutive games, which breaks a tie with Drexler for the Trail Blazers' franchise record.

The Blazers (26-19 and 3rd in the Northwest Division standings) will look to get back into the win column on Wednesday night, when they'll welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers to town. Tip-off inside the Moda Center is set for 10:00 p.m. ET.
