Is Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard thinking of a career switch?

In a recent tweet, Lillard shared yet another breaking news of a reporter joining The Athletic:

This is the second time he's done this for this month. The first one involved another reporter Sam Amick:

What's astounding about Lillard's breaking news is that they're actually true. Young, who came into the scene as a staff writer from San Antonio Express-News and other publications, confirmed Lillard's news. Young has signed up for The Athletic, joining Shams Charania, among other top-notch sports reporters.

Though one would assume that he's just trolling the reporters, he's not. Lillard seems to be a legitimate insider of NBA insiders.

The question now would be: where does he get these tips? Is this a scheme elaborately planned by Lillard and the NBA reporters to create some stir? Or is Lillard trying to drive home a point, that if they can scoop news from the all over the league before the players know it, he, too, can beat them in their own game?

Be as it may, Lillard's antics are giving us some good old entertainment. And in the event that he retires, we already know what his new job will be.
